Run the till, the stockroom, the books and payroll — your whole business on one system.
Sellex is a complete ERP: point of sale, inventory, purchasing, production, accounting and payroll in a single per-branch subscription — in the browser, on the tablets you already own.
- 1subscription — from the till to payroll
- Arabicand English throughout — the till, receipts and the back office
- 0hardware lock-in — it runs in any modern browser
- Per branchunlimited tills and cashiers included
Built for how restaurants and cafés work
Not a cash register with add-ons bolted on — one system where a sale moves the stock, the stock moves the cost, and the cost lands in the books. Food service is shown here because it is the hardest case to model; the same engine runs a retail shop, a wholesaler or a services business, with the parts they do not need switched off.
A central kitchen, not just a cash register
Sellex models the way a chain actually cooks: prep made in bulk at a commissary, transferred to branches and sold there — with the cost following the food all the way from the supplier invoice to the plate. The same production and costing engine runs a bakery's bakehouse, a workshop assembling from parts, or a wholesaler packing to order.
- Recipes and sub-recipes with recursive costing and waste gross-up
- Batch production, inter-branch transfers, waste and physical counts
- Supplier price-creep detection and reorder suggestions from real burn rate
- Food cost, margin and count variance per product and per branch
Test this before you pay us anything. Send us the names of ten of your best-selling plates and a photo of your last supplier invoice — that is all, no spreadsheet to prepare. We send back each plate costed to the gram, sub-recipes, yields and waste included, for you to hold against what you believe those plates cost. There is nothing to sign. If the numbers surprise you, we should talk.
A till your cashiers can actually run
The cashier app runs in the browser — any tablet, phone or computer — and installs to the home screen like an app. There is nothing to download and no platform to buy into, so the tablets you already own are the tills you open with, and adding another one for a busy Thursday costs nothing at all.
- PIN login per cashier, shifts with an opening float and counted-cash close
- Split payments, refunds and credit notes, X and Z reports
- Modifiers, combo deals and sized products, each costed exactly
- Bilingual receipts with the ZATCA tax QR, printed to any thermal printer
- Unlimited tills, kitchen screens and cashier logins in every branch — a cashier is never a licence

Your dining room, digital
Draw the floor, tap a table to seat it, and let the bill grow round by round while the guests eat. Every round reaches the kitchen the moment it is fired — the bill stays open until someone pays. This is one example of Sellex shaped to a trade: a retail counter, a service workshop or a wholesale desk each get the same treatment for the way they take an order.
- Open tabs shared across every till, split by item or merged with another table
- A QR per table for Arabic-first self-ordering, accepted by the cashier
- Every destination gets what belongs to it: the customer's receipt prints at the till, and each order appears on the kitchen screen at the station that makes it — grill, drinks, pastry
- Allergy notes follow the customer onto every order and every ticket
- 2 × Cheese Burger
- 1 × Chicken Wrap
No mayo - 1 × Fries
- 3 × Classic Burger
- 2 × Onion Rings
The books post themselves
One click turns every sale, receipt, transfer and payroll run into real double-entry journal entries — and because each entry is keyed to its source document, pressing it twice can never post anything twice. Your accountant opens the month already posted, and drills from any balance back to the sale that made it.
- Chart of accounts in Arabic and English, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet
- Per-branch P&L, VAT return and supplier aging that tie to the cent
- Attendance from POS shifts, leave, payroll worksheet and payslips
- A WPS bank file exported for the salary transfer — payroll prepared, payslips printed
- Every statement and the journal itself export as CSV for your accountant
Revenue, last 30 days · all branches
Compliance and connections, built in
Tax compliance is a legal requirement, so it is part of every plan, including the entry one. The same goes for the connections a modern business needs.
- ZATCA Phase-1 QR on every receipt, in every plan, from day one
- ZATCA Phase-2 (Fatoora) and Egyptian ETA pipelines built in, and certified against your own taxpayer credentials as part of your implementation
- Jahez, HungerStation and Talabat orders captured natively, inside the same system
- Your own isolated database — your sales data never sits in a shared pool
Everything your business runs on. One subscription.
Turn on only what you need today. Every module works on its own — start with the till and switch on the stockroom or the books later, with nothing to set up twice and no data to move. Restaurants and cafés use the dine-in and kitchen modules; a retail shop or a wholesaler simply leaves them off. Anything labelled Set up at onboarding is connected to your own accounts and credentials while we install your system.

The things owners ask us first
Do I need to buy hardware?
No. The till is a web app, not a download, so it runs on anything with a modern browser — an Android tablet, an iPad, a phone, a Windows or Mac laptop — and installs to the home screen like an app. There is no platform-specific code in it at all. A standard thermal printer prints receipts and order tickets.
Is Sellex ZATCA-compliant?
Every receipt carries the ZATCA Phase-1 simplified tax invoice QR, in every plan, from your first sale. The Phase-2 (Fatoora) e-invoicing pipeline is built into the product and is certified against your own taxpayer credentials as part of your implementation — the compliance checks, your device certificate and the connection to Fatoora are completed with you before you go live, not left for you to arrange. Compliance is part of every plan here. One thing worth knowing when you compare vendors: nobody is "ZATCA certified" as a company — ZATCA's solution-provider directory says plainly that listing is not an approval, and what is certified is your own taxpayer registration. Treat anyone who tells you otherwise carefully.
Where does my data live, and who can see it?
Every customer gets their own isolated database — your sales never sit in a shared pool, and we are not owned by a delivery aggregator. Being straight about location: today that database and the application run in the European Union (Google Cloud Belgium, database in Frankfurt), not in the Kingdom. If your policy or your legal advice requires KSA residency, tell us at the first call — it is a deployment region, not a rewrite, but it is not the default today and we would rather you knew before signing than after.
Can I move from my current POS, and what does migration actually involve?
Your product catalogue and your customer list are migrated for you as part of onboarding. Be realistic about the rest: nothing migrates your recipes, stock on hand, suppliers, purchase history or accounting opening balances — no POS exports them in a form anyone can import. Somebody has to build the recipes, and that is the work that decides whether your cost reporting is right in month one or month four. We will either do it with you as a priced service or train your team to do it. See the migration section on the pricing page for what it involves and how long it takes.
How does billing work?
Per branch, per year — with unlimited tills, screens and cashier logins inside each branch. One back-office (ERP) user comes with every branch and each extra one is SAR 48 a month under the exclusive offer, half the SAR 96 list price. Pay annually and save 20%, or monthly at list price with no lock-in. Your price is locked for 24 months either way. An annual subscription runs for its full term; you keep your data and can export it in full at any time.
Can I start small and add modules later?
Yes. Start with the till and switch on inventory, finance or payroll whenever you are ready — same system, same data, nothing to set up twice and no migration project. Inventory begins from an opening stock count on the day you turn it on.
Who are you?
Sellex is an independent software company building management systems for businesses across the Middle East — restaurants and cafés, retail, wholesale and services. You deal directly with the people who build the system, so a decision gets made on the call rather than in a queue. Your data is exportable in full at any time, in open formats, and the database schema is documented.
