Restaurant ERP · Built for the Middle East

Run the till, the kitchen, the stockroom, the books and payroll — on one system.

Sellex is an offline-first restaurant ERP: point of sale, dine-in, inventory, central kitchen, accounting and payroll in a single per-branch subscription — on the Android tablets you already own.

Modules

Everything a restaurant runs on. One subscription.

Turn on only what you need today. Every module is severable — start with the till and switch on the stockroom or the books later, with no reimplementation and no data migration.

  • POS & Cashier

Offline-first tablet till: sales, split payments, modifiers, combos, sized products, refunds, cash drawer, X/Z reports. Arabic and English.

    Live
  • Dine-in: floors, tables & tabs

A floor plan per branch, tap a table to book it, and a running tab that grows round by round — split by item, merged with another table, settled once.

    Live
  • Kitchen Display (KDS)

A live per-station kitchen screen. Every round a table fires becomes its own card, worked New → Preparing → Ready → Bump.

    Live
  • Self-order QR

A QR per table and for takeaway opens an Arabic-first ordering page. Orders land as pending for the cashier to accept and settle.

    Live
  • Inventory & Stock

An append-only stock ledger with live consumption through recipes, adjustments, inter-branch transfers, physical counts and low-stock alerts.

    Live
  • Purchasing

Suppliers and purchase orders from draft to receipt, receive-time price and short-delivery overrides, supplier price history and reorder suggestions.

    Live
  • Manufacturing / Central kitchen

Batch production, sub-recipes, recursive cost roll-up with waste gross-up, quick-produce and a bill of materials. The commissary model for chains.

    Live
  • Finance / Accounting

A chart of accounts and a double-entry journal that posts itself from operations: per-branch P&L, VAT return, AP aging, supplier payments.

    Live
  • HR & Payroll

Employees, document-expiry tracking, attendance derived from POS shifts, leave, a payroll worksheet, printable payslips and a WPS bank file.

    Live
  • Loyalty

Customers earn points on every sale and redeem them for money off at the till, with balance and history on each customer.

    Live
  • E-Invoicing & compliance

The ZATCA Phase-1 QR prints on every receipt. The Phase-2 (Fatoora) and Egyptian ETA submission pipelines are built in and certified with your own credentials.

    Set up at onboarding
  • Delivery aggregators

Marketplace orders from Jahez, HungerStation and Talabat land in the same pending queue as a QR self-order — no middleware subscription in between.

    Set up at onboarding
  • Online payments

Card and wallet acceptance online through Geidea (KSA) or Paymob and Fawry (Egypt). You keep your own merchant account — we never touch your money.

    Set up at onboarding
  • WhatsApp receipts

Send the customer their receipt over WhatsApp after the sale, queued automatically and delivered off the till's critical path.

The product

Built for how restaurants here actually operate

Not a cash register with add-ons bolted on — one system where a sale moves the stock, the stock moves the cost, and the cost lands in the books.

The till that never stops

The cashier app installs on any Android tablet and keeps working with no network at all. Orders, shifts and cash movements queue on the device and sync exactly once when the connection returns — a paid sale is never lost, and never counted twice.

  • PIN login per cashier, shifts with an opening float and counted-cash close
  • Split payments, refunds and credit notes, X and Z reports
  • Modifiers, combo deals and sized products, each costed exactly
  • Bilingual receipts with the ZATCA tax QR, printed to any thermal printer

Your dining room, digital

Draw the floor, tap a table to seat it, and let the bill grow round by round while the guests eat. Every round reaches the kitchen the moment it is fired — the bill stays open until someone pays.

  • Open tabs shared across every till, split by item or merged with another table
  • A QR per table for Arabic-first self-ordering, accepted by the cashier
  • Kitchen tickets and KDS cards routed per station — grill, bar, pastry
  • Allergy notes follow the customer onto every order and every ticket

A central kitchen, not just a cash register

Sellex models the way a chain actually cooks: prep made in bulk at a commissary, transferred to branches and sold there — with the cost following the food all the way from the supplier invoice to the plate.

  • Recipes and sub-recipes with recursive costing and waste gross-up
  • Batch production, inter-branch transfers, waste and physical counts
  • Supplier price-creep detection and reorder suggestions from real burn rate
  • Food cost, margin and count variance per product and per branch

The books post themselves

Every sale, receipt, transfer and payroll run posts to a real double-entry journal as it happens. Your accountant opens the month already done — and can drill from any balance back to the sale that made it.

  • Chart of accounts in Arabic and English, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet
  • Per-branch P&L, VAT return and supplier aging that tie to the cent
  • Attendance from POS shifts, leave, payroll worksheet and payslips
  • A WPS bank file exported for the salary transfer — payroll prepared, payslips printed

Compliance and connections, without the add-on tax

Tax compliance is a legal requirement, not a premium feature — so it ships in every plan, including the cheapest one. The same goes for the connections a modern restaurant needs.

  • ZATCA Phase-1 QR on every receipt, in every plan, from day one
  • ZATCA Phase-2 (Fatoora) and Egyptian ETA pipelines built in, certified against your own taxpayer credentials during onboarding
  • Jahez, HungerStation and Talabat orders captured natively — no middleware fee
  • Your own isolated database — your sales data never sits in a shared pool

Questions

The things owners ask us first

Do I need to buy hardware?

No. Sellex runs in the browser on any Android tablet or phone you already own — the till installs like an app and works offline. A standard thermal printer prints receipts and kitchen tickets.

What happens when the internet drops?

The till keeps selling. Orders, shifts and cash movements queue on the device and sync exactly once when the connection returns — a paid sale is never lost, and never counted twice.

Is Sellex ZATCA-compliant?

Every receipt carries the ZATCA Phase-1 simplified tax invoice QR, in every plan. The Phase-2 (Fatoora) e-invoicing pipeline is built into the product and is certified against your own taxpayer credentials during onboarding. Compliance is never a paid add-on here.

Who can see my data?

Only you. Every customer runs in their own isolated database — your sales never sit in a shared pool, and your POS vendor is not owned by a delivery aggregator.

Can I move from my current POS?

Yes. We migrate your menu and customer list free as part of onboarding, and you can run a 30-day pilot on your own tablet alongside your current system before you switch anything off.

How does billing work?

Per branch, per month — with unlimited tills and users inside each branch. Pay annually for roughly two months free, or monthly with no lock-in. Your price is locked for 24 months either way.

Can I start small and add modules later?

Yes. Start with the till and switch on inventory, finance or payroll whenever you are ready — same system, same data, no reimplementation and no migration project.

Do you operate in Egypt?

Yes — with Egyptian ETA e-receipt support and Paymob or Fawry payments. Contact us for pricing in EGP.
